Feathers are heavier than down, so the more feathers, the heavier the quilt. Feathers are not only heavier but stiffer than down, so a quilt filled with feathers settles faster than a down quilt. The weight of a quilt also depends on the kind of shell used. spacer
Which pillow should I choose?
If you sleep on your side most of the time, a high/thick pillow, a triple-layer or a four-chamber pillow, is a good idea. These pillows are filled with soft down where the head rests, while a coarser filling (feathers) supports the neck. If you sleep mostly on your stomach, it is a good idea to choose a low pillow.

In any case, your choice of pillow is a matter of taste and sleeping habits. Where pillows with natural filling are concerned, it is often a good idea to choose a pillow with a greater feather content. Feathers are coarser than down and provide better support, while down on its own is very soft and airy, and very comfortable.

There are many kinds of combination pillows, including some in which a firm foam core is combined with soft down.
Consider your needs
Feel the products first and choose the one that feels best at a price you are willing to pay. When you consider the price, ask yourself if this is a quilt you personally will be using every day - or that will be used rarely (as a guest quilt).
spacerDo you need a summer quilt?
Choose a lightweight quilt.
spacerDo you need a winter quilt?
Choose a quilt to suit your bedroom temperature. A quilt with high fill power and good insulating properties that feels warm to the touch.
spacerHow big does my quilt have to be?
Length: Your height + 30 cm. Width: Your chest measurement + 30 cm.
spacerShould it be a heavy or a lightweight quilt? The weight of a quilt says nothing about how warm it is. What matters here is the filling.
