When we produce our quilts and pillows, we use only natural filling materials that are washed and heat-treated.

This means we use a high-quality filling with minimum risk to health. Our quilts and pillows are machine-washable at 60°C. Washing at this temperature eliminates house dust mites.

Most of our products are produced in cooperation with the Danish Asthma & Allergy Association.
Astma-Allergi Forbundet (the Danish Asthma & Allergy Association) offers the following advice for a healthy bedroom:

A good night’s sleep is worth more than any beauty treatment. We spend one-third of our life in the bedroom. It is here we restore our energy, so that we can meet daily challenges, both physical and mental. That is why it is important that the indoor climate in your bedroom is healthy..

Good advice:

• Furnish your bedroom in a simple style so that it is easy to clean.
• Avoid materials that easily collect dust, like heavy curtains, thick carpets, structured wallpaper, etc.
• Don’t overfurnish your bedroom.
• Choose a bed with a breathable mattress and make sure there is room to clean properly under the bed.
• Bed linen, quilts and pillows should be washed at at least 55° C – the temperature at which house dust mites are eliminated.
• House dust mite allergy sufferers should have their quilt and pillow washed 3-4 times a year. The top mattress should be washed every 4-8 weeks.
• Maintain room temperature at 18-23° C.
• Air the room at least 2-3 times a day with a through draught for 10-15 minutes.
• Clean thoroughly once a week.
• Never smoke in the bedroom.
• Never allow pets in the bedroom.
